"I have wasted Time, and now doth Time waste me" - Richard II

This Well Is Running A Bit Dry

I’ve got nothing.

I mean, it’s been three days since I updated. That’s a while. You’d think something would have happened. I mean, I’m sure that you’d believe nothing exciting happened (does anything really exciting happen in this journal?), but you’d still think I’d have something to say.

Nope.

I suppose I could tell you about work, but that’s duller than dirt. I spent twelve and a half hours at work today. I bought some office supplies, wrote some memos, sent some faxes. Ross and I made a super-duper “to-do” list, which we know people are going to ask us for eventually, but for now, we’re just going to use it for ourselves until people notice how prepared and professional we are with our fancy “action item list”. Yes, we’re easily amused and impressed with ourselves.

I suppose I could tell you about what I did with my free time, except there hardly has been any of it. Seriously, I got home around ten tonight, ordered some food, checked my e-mail, listened to my messages, ate my dinner, and watched some TV. If I can summon up the energy (which I doubt, seeing as I haven’t managed to do so the last two nights), I have every intention of doing some dishes and maybe paying some bills.

Well, I’m excited about the last part. I love paying bills lately. Nothing quite as satisfying as knowing you can keep all the utilities on, y’know?

I’m feeling better, which is nice for both me and for you since I hopefully won’t be inflicting any more of my crazed fever-induced entries upon you like I did last weekend. My nose is still a little runny though, which I know you’re really curious about. Nothing like an average of four and a half hours sleep a night to make it difficult to recover from a cold.

Honestly, that’s about it. Seriously, y’all. I’m getting home so late this week that I haven’t even been able to return any phone calls, because by the time I’m ready to listen to my messages it is too late to call anyone back. But honestly, the biggest thing happening today is that I can’t seem to locate about two hundred fifty dollars worth of petty cash receipts. That’s what my poor tired brain has been reduced to.

You don’t all have to thank me at once for sharing that with you.
